Hi Sarah,

When I think back to when I was a kid I think I was always interested in vintage. My mother was a big fan of the 40’s & 50’s Hollywood musicals, watching those films with all those amazing Technicolor costumes who wouldn’t fall in love with vintage fashion.  Growing up there was defiantly some thrifting and antiquing going on. I was never happier then to be around anything old. In my 20’s I was all about the vintage clothing but back then you bought vintage because it was cheap, no one else would be wearing what you were and of course because the fashions in stores were ridiculous. Sadly buying vintage clothing now is for a committed few who can afford to do so.  These days I stick to vintage images - buying, scanning and restoring in hopes of inspiring more people to become interested in the past be it fashion or other.
